Early Motor Development
Whilst it is widely believed you have to learn to crawl before you can walk, many children with upper limb differences do not crawl on their hands and knees, or skip crawling altogether. So how are motor milestones achieved in children with limb differences, and are they different to their two-handed peers?
We are interested in how motor skills develop in children with an upper limb difference. To help provide this vital information to other families and researchers, please complete our online questionnaire about motor development. This is suitable for parents with a child from 3 years. If your child is under 3 years please contact us for a paper copy you can update as your child develops.
